I'm sure you guys have listened to the song from beginning to end, and have noticed that it ends with a fade out, even though it is presumed that the full version has a proper ending.

Well, turns out that there'a little more to that.

I've been relistening to the song over and over and over again, and I have noticed a peculiar detail. Take a listen during the scene where Rose runs with Zack. The singer repeats "It's the Magical World" numerous times, but one particular instance which interests me is right after Zack starts running.

The phrase is "It's the Magical World", and the specific word of interest is "Magical".
When this word ends, if you listen really closely, you can still hear the singer in the background stretching the "a" from "-cal".

More so, when the singer starts singing "World", when she stretches the "o", you can hear another "wo-" start in the background.

Seriously, though, it's looking pretty awesome overall, and any remarks I'd have on the thing are nitpicks at best.

It is very likely going to be more slice of life oriented than big adventure or 'destiny'-oriented, which would certainly not be a bad thing. The designs of the rooms actually making it into the show is really nice, too. Makes the Academy feel more like a home away from home, whereas certain other shows will stick to showing only one character's bedroom, or not being very consistent at it.

Also, just a thought, but how much actual studying are we going to see, you think? There's room for some emotional weight towards testing and whatnot, and we have the rooms set up as student rooms: chairs, tables, we could see our protagonists actually struggle with mere schoolwork, if the show decides to go that route.

The reason why I'm hesitant to assign rooms to locations is because the building seen on the concept arts and in the third trailer has multiple floors - our beloved students might be scattered all over the building.

I am glad that such analysis can be done and can yield proper results, though, especially after seeing attempts of creating a stable picture of the interior of the Golden Oak Library from Friendship is Magic. The thing keeps changing from episode to episode, if not from scene to scene.

I think will be a 50%-50%, more mixed than FiM looking the new scenes with Battwig in the last trailer.

Battwig appears more nasty and dangerous than we tought, too. Still, I don't think he's really "evil" in the true sense of the word, but does not mean he can't really try to do something of really naughty!

The common room seems quite flexible in this way.

The academy seems hold near thirdy students (24). The classrooms seems hold also 12 of them. That mean there are just 2 classes that study in the different zones of the Academy.
That could be a simplification, but what if they really take in count in the setting? If the Academy is an elite school, could explain that they took only very few, choosen student from all places of...

I can see a lot of scenes from the cupcakes/monster episode. There are many possibilities. This might be opening credits with episode clips, mixed in one video. Opening credits shots might be custom-made trailer-only shots. Hell, everything can be actual episode clips, if they'll really go over the top and have character splash screens in the middle of the first episode!

Terminology issue. We already know that none of the characters are actually horses or any real life species - they're their own type of animal, Filly, which just happens to look like a horse. It's kinda like how it is with unicorns, if I'm not mistaken.

The problem of this film is right in the final. The central part could be passed (but not that I remember stuff that struck me), and the beginning is a deus ex machina: Twilight accidentally invents a magic-sucking device with no knowledge of magic.
I find the explanation of Twi insufficient: the fact that the medallion can detect EMP does not mean magic and tecnology are the same thing. Also, why she invented in a way it can opens, if is only a portable detector? There are fantasy works where the relation between magic/tech is settled, and is defined fixing some rules for both. You can't skip the question just with a vague line.
But, for who not writes fantasy much or haven't much knowledge to how handle a imaginary setting, could be easy skip...

Pros: proper approach to animation in most places (though still using Hasbro's imperfect primary design), lot of design additions, properly polished script
Cons: pop march songs that don't make sense or actually explain anyhing, rich script built on poor overall plot.

It seems that they tried to build it the good way with a lot of work, but some foundation part was missing, which made it a bit wasted.

ok, in a flyer is appeared another version of the spring poster. I cut it from the PDF and enlarged.
Overall: there isn't much of special, just Cedric slightly distanced from Bella (in the Spring poster, was behind) and the background seems more blurry and with less details.
At least here we can see better Cedric keeping a pile of books on her paws.

BRB just replied me sayng that the intention is to use the spring poster again for the next convention, becouse seems the audience liked it. And I'm not surprised: I find unusual that a cartoon on a toy for little girls has a poster that make think more an adventure in a dungeon in a D&D game.
Yes, Funtasia could be done keeping in mind to appeal a general audience, but using a traditional approach isn't wrong: a large part of the Filly world is cute and colorful, and kids remain the central audience, the rest is an extra.

While I would not bet, I'm still positive. The launch will be the next Janury, and would be have sense that they show a new trailer. In Spring would have not been much helpful, becouse there were more than half year to wait.

They also removed the bug! The hilarious facey bug who looked as if Will threw it at the girls (haha, Deadly Throw; you're such a Rogue, Will).
Lynn looks over-saturated. Looking at the old image, everyone looks over-saturated! Probably because in reality, the first photo is under-saturated. However, Lynn still is too purple here. :P
