Back in 2009, at a time where I hadn't seen a single life sign of My Little Pony in four years, and when Horseland ran before Pokémon Diamond and Pearl on Saturday mornings, Horseland felt very generic to me, as it was very similar to every other horse show I could receive on Nordic telly in that a lot of focus was on the ties between the horse and its rider. And back then, I perceived Horseland as being heavy on teen romances, but looking at this episode now, I can't remember how I even reached that conclusion.

It seems heavy on morals, and heavy on friendship, both of them so much that I struggled to keep my attention on it (skipping parts of the ep haphazardly). But if any other episodes have that mythical or epical (not necessarily epic quality-wise) flair over them, perhpas I can no longer speak as negatively of it as I've done in the past five years.

...Since I just now watched it and it's pretty fun (aimed at an older audience though).

Lloyd the Rockin' Unicorn is another webseries worth checking out! It's got a very Bojack-esque unicorn who gets fed up of his life (he's basically He-man) and moves to the real world to get a real job, but then his life catches up with him. It got pretty epic before being abandoned forever!

Again, not aimed at kids, but cool if you're fine with that.

This thing in US produced stuff is really slipping out of control today. I think my sensibility is different becouse I'm Italian, but I don't see how some cosmetical choises could bring some good if these have no impact in the story. When I was kid I remember that a lot of American stuff dealt better with the issue, with more sensibility than I see nowday from them.

But if we question why is it that ponies of MLP, able to do a lot with magic, don't tend to turn into other species or take bizarre forms - it seems to be a good decision for them that they stay animal, and pony at that. Makes things more simple and convenient. In another types of environments than Equestrian plains, that might be different (dragons living in the mountain regions, for example)

FiM has a fantasy frame very swallow, but a couple of other cartoons played around the thing. In Princess Starla the unicorns don't speak, but comunicate though telepaty. Curiously they did the same the Gravity Falls episode The Last Mabelcorn, where they do he same. :)

The reason why they don't change forms, I think they dislike do that. They are born horse-like, and I think is natural that many of them are confortable in their original form, while a transformation would...

There has been a break with new collections lately, but mostly there were a lot of Sweetbox ( http://sbox.club/kollekczii/poni/ ) and Petzoo ( http://petzoo.ru/katalog/ ) collections. Those seem to have really succeeded with designs, too. Too bad they're blind bags now. That ruins the reason to collect - after buying a few, chance of failure rises too high.

The Sweet Box ones seem well done! The Pony line has also the velvet effect like of Filly.
I see they have also a MlP edition, they seems even better of what we saw in the West with some special editions (such McDonalds).
