Unlucky my machine is old and has trouble to run 3d games anymore, but is a worth check when I get a new one (I hope soon).

Probably SteamOS is the most decisive step I saw that brought Linux in the gaming market, althought still has only a little share.
I'm not sure of what to think about the "SteamBox": while the SteamOS is finally the "OS for games" accessible to any developer and player on any machine that virtually can run it, making also an hardware where run it appears redundant. Could be useful for who haven't time/interest to pass time to choise hardware stuff, but is the concept of the consolles. I was thinking more of that Wander apparently also is a PS4 game, which gives you two reasons to buy a PS4. Or in more negative counting methods, if that's your thing, all the reasons you'd have to buy a PS4 can be counted on two fingers.

The PC producer companies generally didn't get the memo that consoles are meant to cost less than €1,000. Alienware has a high-potential small PC starting at €530 for the Core i3 500GB model, which apparently has a special-tailored Nvidia APU made for the occasion, but every other scheduled Steam Machine are only really full PCs with fewer connection ports.

Yep. Ironically, the matter they deal to make an hardware for their OS make them a consolle producer. An unusual, but their is a consolle.
I wonder if is only becouse some other company expect a product that enter in this branch of the market, becouse don't appear to me a big deal.

Usually, I used the internal boot menu of my machine to swap HD instead of the various OS loader, becouse its BIOS allow to choose the boot device before load them. That save me a lots of problem also when I changed the version of some of the OS: Windows pretends do...

I was thinking of adding Dr. Dimensionpants to the horse cartoon thread, but ultimately decided against it.

My views on the show does for the most part not really rely on the, uh, griffins and unicorns. The show has cartoony action, has a fast pace but not destroyingly fast as was the case with Uncle Grandpa, and on the few occasions where the Doctor can think clearly, he can act sensibly and doesn't try to punch everyone senseless *hark*Powerpuff Girls*sneeze*. But one thing does wreck some 3/4ths of the show's watchability: From the ~10 episodes I've watched, the cartoon feels to be trying to be educational and has massive punches of anvilicious-ness, even feeling more moral-preaching than several Disney Junior cartoons, let alone Randy Cunningham or Adventure Time.

The unicorn gives me some Robot Unicorn Attack vibes, although much more of a free-soul and often also self-centred personality. It does miraculously succeed in its apparent job to differ him from Equestrian unicorns,...

Yeah, Philip isn't exactly a character that I would use as example for a unicorn, mainly becouse is that kind of comical cartoonish character that don't grasp the point of use an anthropomorfic animal. Yeah, I very picky about that.

But I must say that I like he as character becouse represent all that silly/stupid humor that is part of unicorn stuff. Like the motto "I want be a unicorn to stab stupid people with my horn" or "Be yourself, but if you can be a unicorn, be a unicorn". :P

Ah, you're right, he actually represent all that stuff pretty well! Well spotted.

Perhaps I'll simplify it a bit too much now, but it feels like the whole cartoon is an action high-speed attention-grab rush, but that they try to stuff morals repeatedly into it that messes with the whole experience. It's sort of like trying to stuff yet another newspaper into one's paper wastebin.

And here is number 5: A cactus.

It can bounce around while remaining in its potting, and can drink chili sauce, though it does find the sauce to be overly hot.

And after a week without good episodes, here's number 6: A peanut. Not the character, but an actual peanut. It can move its face without moving what appears to be its head.

There was also a yarnball with a cat face, but it lost out, at least for today.
