Elective monarchies seems to have lost their old medieval grip when democracies became common. In the West, there is pretty much only hereditary monarchies left. Even an elective monarchy probably wouldn't aid me with removing weird monarchs from throne anyway (I hear that Carl Gustav is very unroyal most of the time).

Perhaps Filly lands hold votes for royalty, although that leaves matters like the ex-Queen Miracle of Glacia more mysterious than they already are. Jewel would easily win a vote as the founder of Emocia, but Scarlet seems like a bad bet to have voted on if the Princess of Papillia is supposed to do regular country-steering duties there.

Rose and Lynn is by far the most common shipping I've seen so far, so you're not alone. I am not sure how much I actually want any love in the show (I caught parts of Over The Garden Wall chapter 9, and the little remaining sympathy I had with Wart vanished after that episode), but as Rose is in toy canon dreaming about finding love, I have played on a small-scale with Rose x Fabian, and on an even smaller scale Bella x Cedric.

Zack and Fabian has had some close moments, even if by tumbling. It could get interesting to know what Fabian is even doing at the Academy, but if he by profession has a reason to go along with Zack (or to know Zack better), that would fuel that shipping like a lit torch on a Texas oil field.

I have problems seeing reasonable reasons to ship Fabian x Cedric, or Fabian x Princess Sparkle, to name some possible obstacles. Also, welcome to the Fillychan site, Greyfeather!

Is just me, but I find Fabian and Rose, for some reasons, a enjoyable couple. Rose seems very patient and kind, and Fabian the classic guy who maybe like the pretty girl but is too clumsy to say that he like her; but maybe is the false impression of the promos where you see Fabian and Rose togheter in different scenes.

Anyway, I think Fabian really is that kind of stereotype, and his design is very particular, that I see him a easy target for shipping of any unrealistic kind and. Poor guy, I don't envy him! :D

I must admit that my first major use of Rose x Fabian was for a one-scene joke shipping in a fanfiction, but they do seem like they could get well along. Still do I doubt however, that Fabian will stay at the Academy for long (He may turn out to be a one-episode wonder, a sort that leave themselves very bad fits for major shippings, unless your name is Gilda or Trixie), and even if love can be very random, I wonder if Rose would want to make do with having a clumsy princess-ish Filly with a bowtie as the love of her life.

I have serious qualms with teen boys in cartoons who can't bring themselves to say that they like their girlfriends, but Fabian may just turn out to be enough clumsy that it could be believable even to me.

The first thing that struck me when I pondered about the recolours was in fact Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But I will now assume that Sakurai's successor as the Smash director, have some unusual wishes for new characters in SSB5!

SSB4 introduced Miis, and I do have Will as a Mii fighter (who often ends up lagging behind Michael de Santa and Snorlax), but the potential for making all that many more Filly SSB Miis isn't quite there.

If they opt for an Asian(?) approach to the alphabet, there could potentially be a three-digit amount of letters out there or in the planning, so it could take a year or two for it to stop growing, if you ask me.

Zejgar's explanation is probably more relevant than mine, but I remember that the two used black and white robes for a toy commercial around the time when the Mysterious household was released in (German) stores.

Oh-well it happens hehe. The game does have sequences once you beat all the stages in certain acts where it'll be like a visual novel and tell you what Alice is up to, but there isn't anything like a choice in the middle of the story to make Alice do something else, it's just a story being told with pretty and simplistic flash animation. Other than that, it's Bejeweled/Candy Crush, but it is a lot of fun :)

I think what they really mean is that they can upload the episodes to the public faster on YouTube or some sort of online video sharing site than they can air it on television, but yeah that's a really silly statement with how long they've been working on Filly Funtasia lol

At least it may imply that even if they get denied on television to air the episodes it's still watchable on the internet.

You should have seen the intro conversation in a fanfic I was writing in November-ish, a sequel to Cedric Discovers Cable Television, and that I now doubt will ever be completed. It had the language-incompetent Will greeting a Finnish-speaking ambassador filly with "Spurdo spärde!", and the ambassador's eyes were fleeting away from the conversation.
