It does seem like some sort of summoning, depending on what Battiwigs is actually throwing at the Mirror Wizard (Several have suggested magic spells, I've suggested ropes or coins).

But, now that I think about it, in that first pic, did Battiwigs look up a spell in that book, or was experimenting on the Mirror Wizard? Could the Wizard have been sick (Deadly curse? Inability to do magic? An autumn cold?)? Did Battiwigs want to make the Mirror more powerful?

And the two certainly go tightly along, considering how much Batti is aiding the Wizard.

Zodia and Zach is my favorite shipping so far. I thought the story of the two is adorable and interesting. I wonder if the show will go into more details as how Zodia made her kingdom more okay with the Moonlights. It was at least kinda vague to me in the script for the comic.

Since the two are the only young-Fillys that are establishing a love relationship, I can technically see how they can be a shipping. Romeo x Kirina is one-sided and unspoken, the Fillys of Filly Wedding are presumably adults, and all other cross-family relation that I can remember in a hurry has been friendships.

Early merch have shown Zack and Zodia as friends, but a mostly-visible sticker card advertised alongside a sticker album ad, showed that there are a bit more feelings than that ahead of them/us.

Okay, I've found it. I must admit that I'm slightly disappointed that there weren't more Filly art on the art list. I've rarely been one to like anime in general.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Rose and Lynn already.

Rose and Lynn is by far the most common shipping I've seen so far, so you're not alone. I am not sure how much I actually want any love in the show (I caught parts of Over The Garden Wall chapter 9, and the little remaining sympathy I had with Wart vanished after that episode), but as Rose is in toy canon dreaming about finding love, I have played on a small-scale with Rose x Fabian, and on an even smaller scale Bella x Cedric.

Zack and Fabian has had some close moments, even if by tumbling. It could get interesting to know what Fabian is even doing at the Academy, but if he by profession has a reason to go along with Zack (or to know Zack better), that would fuel that shipping like a lit torch on a Texas oil field.

I have problems seeing reasonable reasons to ship Fabian x Cedric, or Fabian x Princess Sparkle, to name some possible obstacles. Also, welcome to the Fillychan site, Greyfeather!

Rose seems very patient and kind, and Fabian the classic guy who maybe like the pretty girl but is too clumsy to say that he like her; but maybe is the false impression of the promos where you see Fabian and Rose togheter in different scenes.

Anyway, I think Fabian really is that kind of stereotype, and his design is very particular, that I see him a easy target for shipping of any unrealistic kind and. Poor guy, I don't envy him! :D

I must admit that my first major use of Rose x Fabian was for a one-scene joke shipping in a fanfiction, but they do seem like they could get well along. Still do I doubt however, that Fabian will stay at the Academy for long (He may turn out to be a one-episode wonder, a sort that leave themselves very bad fits for major shippings, unless your name is Gilda or Trixie), and even if love can be very random, I wonder if Rose would want to make do with having a clumsy princess-ish Filly with a bowtie as the love of her life.

I have serious qualms with teen boys in cartoons who can't bring themselves to say that they like their girlfriends, but Fabian may just turn out to be enough clumsy that it could be believable even to me.

In the scenes where I do see them together, it's always in a three-way group including Zack, so it's not an intimate two-Filly matter that could normally entail for some romantic-ish moments.
