>Top 10, as in top 10 worldwide or top 10 in an undisclosed group? Either way, that's an achievement, and achievements are nice.
The same NPD Group very often ranks Filly as #1 in the category of German-language-market girls' franchises, and top 3 in the German kids' market in general, so I figure a top 10 position would be something similarly limited, for example "Entertainment franchises with the most integrity, and is sold in German toy- and grocery-stores".
>Meanwhile in Russia McDonalds just can't get over Happy Meals with the penguins from Madagascar.
I think that may have something to do with the very recent animated movie that the penguins had for themselves.
>That's awesome, considering the fact that Promo #3 told us that it was 66kk+. So, what, they're doing 1kk per month, roughly?
I tend to shorten millions into, say, 70M, but okay. Promo #3 was in April 2014, so that'd make it 435K per month in the last nine months, unless the 70M estimate was to get a round number.
>I hope it won't eclipse the usual Filly stuff.
So do I. The regular toy brands tell a lot of stories for us to discover, while a Filly Funtasia toy line seems like it'd have problems telling a proper story, even if the toy story was meant to stick close to the "cartoon".
